Video Production Rates

Many video production companies estimate rates by the finished minute. Yet, the cost of video production varies widely based upon specific requirements, complexity, urgency, and locale. Broadly speaking, a low-end cost estimate is $400/finished minute; whereas, an upper-end cost estimate is $2,000/finished minute. This price range is a very imprecise instrument when you need to make a concrete determination as to whether or not video fits into your budget.

Because the requirements are unique for each project, the best way to arrive at an accurate estimate is for us to discuss your needs over the phone or in person. Here are some examples of items that we would need to about your project:

  • What is the scope of your project?
  • Where would the shoot take place?
  • When would you like the final deliverable?
  • Is script development required?
  • Do you require screen capture video, digital camera video or both?
  • Does your project require WBM to provide a storyboard artist/organizer?
  • Will animation or special affects be part of the project?
  • Is voiceover required?
  • Will you provide the voiceover talent or will WBM?
  • Is localization required?
  • Standard-definition or high-definition video?
  • Is an advanced camera support package required (glidecam, dolly, etc.)?
  • Will production be on site or in studio?
