Pre-production

As with most detailed projects, planning is key to holding down production costs and ensuring that the production phase goes smoothly. Pre-production starts by working with you to identify your organization’s goals and to identify your target audience, the best deployment format, the right messages to reach your customers or the information your learning audience needs. This planning phase considers such factors as

Production

When the story board or shot list is finished and scripts are written, our videography crew sets up in studio or on site. The crew may include an onsite producer and camera operator, and an interviewer/speaking coach if needed, working with your own designated spokesperson. For very small shoots, a single videographer may be all that’s needed. When the shoot is completed, it’s on to the post-production.

Post-production

After we have shot raw footage, it is time to bring everything together into a coherent program. First, we transfer the video data to computer so that it can be edited using multiple state-of-the-art editing systems. In the “rough cut”, the editor arranges the individual takes into a coherent sequence according to pre-production plans and mixes the video with any audio taken during the shoot. If required, voiceover narration is recorded in studio using professional voice talent. And finally, any animation or other computer graphic imaging (CGI) are also added to the video.

Review

Once the video has undergone a rough cut in post-production, you have the opportunity to log into our secure network and watch your multimedia production. At this point, we work with closely with your designated spokesperson to add the finishing touches.

Deployment/Video SEO

Once the final version of your multimedia project has been created, it must be deployed to your website or integrated with a variety of web-based platforms. We can work with your web designer to take care of the finishing touches. If you do not have a web designer on staff, Wild Basin Media offers deployment as a service. This package includes your choice from the best video players on the market, player configuration, placement of the video(s) on your site, and implementation of video SEO strategies. We can also assist in mobile deployments, including integration of QR codes features, for example.
